(Reno, NV) –Terry Rasner-Yacenda of Dreams Realty in Reno has been named among the 2014 Distinguished Women in Nevada for her role in establishing the Dreams Foundation, Inc.
The Dreams Foundation, Inc. benefits individuals, families and communities in their mission to create benefit and value for others. The organization issues funds based on specific request for proposals, viewing unmet dreams as opportunities for achievement. To date, the Dreams Foundation, Inc. has donated more than $310,000.
Recipients of the award will be honored at the Distinguished Women in Nevada 2014 Luncheon at the Jim Rogers Classic Car Museum in Las Vegas on October 22, 2014. The event will honor Nevada women in 62 professions. Proceeds will benefit the Distinguished Scholarship Fund at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the College of Southern Nevada.
Rasner-Yacenda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in general studies and an Associate degree in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Reno. As an owner, she provides the team at Dreams Realty with creative, team-oriented management practices and training in progressive internet technology. Rasner-Yacenda specializes in luxury properties, management and marketing of bank real estate owned assets, broker’s price option and short sales for loss mitigation. In addition to her role with Dreams Realty, she is an author of the book, “She Is All Business” and through seminars and one-on-one coaching, mentors women professionals and women desiring to make their mark in the business world.
